go far, go together
Art that changes how we see each other.
Many young people grow up in diverse neighbourhoods, yet still grow up apart. Prejudice, isolation and unequal opportunities keep neighbours from really knowing each other. And the young people with the fewest opportunities are often the least likely to travel, to be listened to, or to see their own story told.
We believe this can change, and that change starts with a single shift in perspective. In Greek, that shift has a name: metanoia. It means a change of mind, the moment you see the world and the people in it differently. Every project we run is designed to create that moment.
We empower young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, to express themselves through art, to meet people from other cultures, and to become active contributors to inclusive and cohesive communities.
A Europe where difference is met with curiosity instead of fear, and where every young person has the chance to be seen, heard and connected.
Our work runs on 5 connected strands. Young people create through art, their work carries a message into the community, and international cooperation opens the door to the wider world.
Our online scriptwriting workshops guide young people and volunteers from a first idea to a finished script. Participants learn story structure, character and dialogue, then write about the themes that shape their lives: identity, belonging, discrimination and hope. Their scripts can become short films, theatre scenes, podcasts or social media stories.
Because the workshops are online, distance and budget are no longer barriers. A young person in a small town has the same seat at the table as someone in a big city.
We run photography workshops with local young people, giving them a camera and the freedom to tell their own story. They learn to frame, compose and edit, but above all they learn to look closely at their surroundings and trust their own voice. Seeing their images shared and valued is a real boost in self confidence.
We also use photography to make social and cultural challenges visible: exclusion, discrimination, and everyday life in neighbourhoods that are rarely seen. The images feed our campaigns and start conversations in the wider community. Every photo is taken with the consent of the people in it.
Most campaigns about integration talk about people. Ours are made by them. We build our campaigns from the scripts, photos and stories that young people create in our workshops, so the message comes from real voices rather than slogans.
Our campaigns challenge stereotypes, show the everyday reality of living together, and invite people to replace assumptions with conversations. We share them on social media, in schools and in public spaces.
We work hand in hand with schools, youth centres, municipalities and local associations. Every partnership starts with listening: what does this school or neighbourhood actually need? Then we design activities together.
We believe meeting other cultures should not be a privilege. Through Erasmus+ youth exchanges, training courses for youth workers, European Solidarity Corps volunteering and partner projects, we give people from France the chance to travel, learn together and come home with new skills, friendships and perspectives. Because these activities are funded, cost does not decide who can take part.
We also host international groups in France, so our local communities meet Europe without leaving home. Participants in Erasmus+ youth activities can receive a Youthpass certificate recognising the skills they have developed.
We use a wide mix of non formal education methods, online and offline, so that every young person can find a way to take part. Learning with us is participatory, hands on and built on experience rather than lectures.
Whatever the method, every Metanoia activity follows the same 4 steps.
We look honestly at our own assumptions and at the community around us.
We turn what we discover into a script, a photograph or a story.
We show our work to peers, to the community and online, and listen to the response.
We carry it forward into campaigns, local action and international exchange.
Racism and discrimination are still everyday experiences for many young people across Europe. Youth workers are often the first to see it, but they do not always have the tools to respond.
Colors of Europe brought together 35 youth workers from 6 countries: France, Spain, Denmark, Romania, Greece and Türkiye. Together they explored tools and methodologies that foster dialogue, tolerance and mutual understanding, and compared how racism shows up, and is tackled, in each of their countries.
Every youth worker returns home to groups of young people. What 35 people learned in Saint Cyprien travels back with them to young people in 6 countries. That is how one training course multiplies its impact.

These 6 values guide how we design projects, how we work with partners and how we treat every participant.
Everyone belongs. We actively reach young people with fewer opportunities, and no one is left out because of their background, ability or budget.
Our groups are safe spaces where every voice is heard and every identity is respected.
We believe stories and images open conversations that lectures cannot, so art is at the heart of everything we do.
We listen before we speak, and we meet difference with curiosity instead of judgement.
Young people are not an audience. They shape the content, lead the campaigns and carry the message forward.
We go further when we go together, with our local partners and with organisations across Europe.
