Metanoia is an organisation that creates spaces where people meet, exchange, and grow through real experience. We work across education, community engagement, and sport, bringing together people from different backgrounds to learn from each other and build something meaningful together. Our work is rooted in connection, not theory. What matters to us is what happens between people when they share, challenge ideas, and see the world differently.
We are driven by creativity, dialogue, and genuine human connection. We believe people do not grow through passive learning, but through experience, reflection, and interaction. That is why our work focuses on participation, not instruction. We listen, adapt, and build with the people we work with. Every activity is shaped by real needs, real voices, and real experiences.
Our mission is to create learning experiences that are inclusive, practical, and transformative. We aim to support individuals in developing confidence, awareness, and the ability to engage with others in a meaningful way. At the same time, we work to strengthen communities by encouraging participation, cooperation, and openness.
Our work is guided by equality, respect, and diversity. These are not just values, but principles we apply in every activity. We create spaces where people feel safe to express themselves, share experiences, and learn from each other. We use non-formal education and hands-on methods that encourage participation, dialogue, and reflection.
We bring people from across Europe and beyond into the same room — youth workers, educators, young people — and watch what happens when different worlds collide. Erasmus+ is our framework. Transformation is the goal.
Theatre, music, visual art, storytelling. Art gets to places that logic cannot. We use creativity not as decoration but as a genuine tool — to spark dialogue, process experience, and help people see themselves and each other more clearly.
Learning that sticks happens outside the classroom. Our workshops, training courses, and exchanges are built around real people with real challenges — developing confidence, critical thinking, and leadership through experience, not lectures.
We work alongside communities that are too often left out of the conversation, breaking down barriers of language, background, and circumstance. Every person deserves to participate fully in society, and we build the spaces and tools to make that possible.
We bring together individuals from different backgrounds and create the conditions for genuine exchange: structured encounters, honest conversations, and shared experiences that challenge assumptions and build lasting understanding.
Movement is a language everyone speaks. We use sport and physical activity to break down barriers, build trust between people, and support personal wellbeing. On the field or in the gym, we create moments of connection that go far beyond the game.
Our project aims to bring together youth workers and trainers from different backgrounds, including those with opposing perspectives on social issues, to explore tools and methodologies that foster dialogue, tolerance, and mutual understanding. By engaging in non-formal education activities, participants will reflect on different learning styles, develop skills in conflict resolution, and create common relationships that will last beyond the project timeline.
The project will implement a 7-day training course in France, bringing together 36 participants from 7 Programme Countries: France, Denmark, Spain, Romania, Greece, Türkiye.
Metanoia is supported by a diverse team of facilitators, educators, and creatives with international experience. Our team works across different countries and contexts, bringing expertise in education, project coordination, artistic practice, and community engagement. We operate in multiple languages and are experienced in working with diverse groups, ensuring inclusive and effective communication in every activity.
